As you look through this website you will find information about my counselling and psychotherapy practice which I hope you find helpful. If you would like to know more or explore how we could work together or just discuss how counselling could help with your situation then feel free to contact me by telephone or email and I will be pleased to answer any questions.

I am a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. Working integratively means that I bring together many theories, techniques and perspectives as a way to respond to each unique person. I offer long and short term therapy to individuals and couples giving the opportunity to look at life generally or to focus on a specific issue.

There are many ways of describing the benefits of counselling and psychotherapy. The support of an unbiased listener with a chance to see things more clearly and with different perspectives can be invaluable. Therapy offers ways to help cope with many of life's difficulties, past and present, and move on positively, better equipped for the future.

Whether facing a crisis, ongoing problems or feeling dissatisfied with life, I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental way for people to bring and explore their situation.

I am based in a peaceful rural location within easy reach of Brentwood, Ongar, Chelmsford and surrounding areas.

Going to a counsellor or psychotherapist may seem like a big step, even when things are troubling and confusing. If you are not sure whether therapy is right for you, or if finding the right counsellor seems bewildering, we can arrange a meeting to discuss your concerns. This meeting would not involve any obligation to return.

For practising and trainee counsellors, psychotherapists and others working in the caring professions I also provide individual and group clinical supervision.
